Activia yogurt’s sales pitch:
Why should I Switch to Activia? If you have ever suffered from even occasional irregularity, then you should try Activia. Only delicious Activia has the exclusive culture Bifidus Regularis and is clinically proven to help with slow intestinal transit when eaten every day for two weeks, as part of a balanced diet and healthy lifestyle.
That’s the pitch; Activa relieves constipation in only two weeks…only two weeks… I’ll pass. Give me the Fleet with real blueberries, An Enema of the People. (sorry Henrik).

Was this post supposed to point out something that Activia hasn’t already said? Or was it just an excuse to use that great title? I assumed you’d have something specific to say about the name, or about the impossibility of making something sound appetizing when simultaneously talking about constipation.
Pet peeve side note: the incorrect use of “everyday” instead of “every day.”

Ah, the sarcasm missed the mark. It was pointing out the absurdity of anyone waiting 2 weeks for relief of constipation, when there are, you know, alternatives. Like an enema. 2 weeks is a looooooong time to be “fully loaded”. Thanks for pointing out my everyday errors, I will correct them.

Wait, “everyday” is verbatim from the Activia site. Added {sic} for clarification. .

Have you tasted that stuff? It actually has a weird slime coat. The enema might be a better choice…
