Wake the hell up, if we have not won the world's respect, admiration and gratitude with all we have been doing - both the government and countless private charities - since the 19th cent., well, maybe there is something wrong with the world and not with us. And maybe - we should start making them fear us, not love us. Have some pride in this country; there is got to be a reason why so many, including our worst enemies, want to live here. Who's better than we, out there? It used to be, for folks like you at least, the USSR...now, who? France? Germany? the UK?
