Parfums de Coeur (a Connecticut company) is selling body spray, deodorant and “body wash for men” under the brand name BOD Man.
Their website touts one “flavor”of BOD Man, called “Really Ripped Abs”, as “a fragrance with the staying power of a man”. It fails to say which man, however. Ewww de Cologne indeed.
But whether you chose Really Ripped Abs or one of their other “flavors”, like Player, Rock Hard or Fresh Guy, you’ll be puzzled to know that all BOD Man flavors are “a whole new way to wear fragrance”. They don’t say what that new way is and we don’t want to know.
Perhaps this “new way” is necessitated by the fact that the body spray is flammable and should not come in contact with fabrics.
What kind of man wears BOD Man, you ask? According to Walgreens.com, people who bought Bod Man also bought lipstick and nail polish.
Enough said.

I THINK BOD BODY SPRAY SMELLS GREAT.WOMEN GIVE ME COMLPIMENTS ON IT ALL THE TIME.IT LAST LONG TOO,LONGER THAN A LOT OF MORE EXPENSIVE COLONGES.I DON’T LIKE THE REALLY RIPPED ABS FLAVOR BUT “X”,”ROCK HARD”,”PLAYER” & TEKNO SMELL REALLY GOOD.I FOUND A NEW ONE CALLED “BLACK” AT WAL-MART THAT SMELLS GREAT TOO BUT I CAN’T FIND IT ONLINE.TAG & AXE SUCK BUT THIS STUFF IS GREAT.I REALLY DON’T SEE A REAL REASON TO BUY A MORE EXPENSIVE COLOGNE,JUST DOESN’T MAKE SENSE.

The marketing of Bod is rather peculiar. The packaging and the adverts for it are loaded with images that will attract girls. But it’s a product for guys. OK, so maybe they’re trying to sell it to gay guys. But the adverts are also loaded with adoring girls. The only thing I can figure is that they’re selling it to girls, to give to their boyfriends, and to closeted bisexual guys who are turned on by the hunks but hope to attract chicks.
