in Italian you also use Tizio, Caio e Sempronio when you have to refer to a number of people (they come straight from Latin). A more casual version of Mario Rossi (a proper name and surname) is Pinco Pallo or Pinco Pallino, which in turn don’t exist – and could not, actually.
