		<description>I have a ILO32HD that was given to me as a gift. I have had it for nearly 2 years and recently was able to upgrade my AMP and DVD to HDMI. The picture was good and now it&#039;s great, is it the best, no but it&#039;s better than the 10 year old 200 lb Philips 36&quot; tube TV I had.  While I will not sit here and say ILO is great, because this is the only thing I have every owned. I can say it&#039;s been on my wall 2 years and I have had no trouble with it. It gets turned on around 7:00 am and stays on till 1:30 or 2am. So it&#039;s run nearly 10,000 hours. I use a home theater so I couldn&#039;t tell you if the TV sound works, I have a HD digital cable box and use HDMI cable so I couldn&#039;t tell you if the channels change, as a matter of fact I don&#039;t think I have changed a channel with a TV tuner in 10 or 15 years.  As far as the remote goes I don&#039;t use it, maybe a couple of times, I have a Logitech Harmony that I got for $90 and it controls everything even when I had to switch the TV back a forth between S-Video and Component. If you have a home theater system with different brand components I suggest a Harmony, it makes things easy. That&#039;s my experience; take it for what it&#039;s worth. As far as people getting political, well NOBODY CARES!!!</description>

So, I reconnected through the video and audio inputs and taht corrected the problem. 2 weeks after purchase the remote craps out. Bought a $100.00 progamable remote because no other universal remote would work with and ICRAP, I mean ILO. 7 months later the video will just tirn off after 3 minutes of viewing and only sound comes on. Called Wal-mart the said they cant take it back call this #. Called the # they said fax the reciept and a transaction #. Did that and still got nothing. WALMART SUCKS!!!!!!!!!!    Bought mine(42&quot;)on 22 Dec 2006. I called ilo just days later complaining that the Tv was very warm to the touch, and could feel the heat just standing next to it. Customer service said it was new and it was normal to have a warn tv.
  Our calls went on for the past 13 months, and today was the REAL surprise.... it caught fire!!!
   YUP!!!   Only 15 minutes on, I walked our of the room to come back to smoke and flames!
I thank god my grandkids were not home with me.

   We spent the next 3 hours calling WalMart and ilo with no help. Like that was a surprise.
    So.. for all of you that have that great silver ilo 42&#039;.....I hope you dont have a fire.
  Needless to say... come Tuesday, we are on our way to the city court to file papers on WalMart and Ilo or which ever name they want ot go by.

		<description>I would not recommend buying an ilo tv...We got ours last spring and all of a sudden this fall, all it will do is turn on and off...we can&#039;t adjust the volume, can&#039;t change the mode to use our dvd player, nothing. I have tried everything short of paying someone to fix it...I will not buy anymore electronics from ilo or walmart for that matter. I would definitely spend a little extra for something better quality next time..until then, I have to watch my dvd&#039;s on my laptop!!</description>
